Walking is something we all take for granted. But, you may be surprised to find that a daily brisk walk can help you lose weight, reduce the risk for such chronic diseases as heart disease, high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes. Walking also strengthens your bones and muscles. In short, it's the easiest and most economical exercises you can do. All you need are a pair of sneakers.
